蔡康永上週錄影時臉部突然無知覺，罹患「病毒性顏面失調」。消息傳出後，蔡康永2日首度現身說明，他說：「好友都紛紛推薦我知名的針灸師，現在眉毛看起來是高低眉，眼睛也些許受到影響。」至於傳蔡和劉德華有心結，他否認：「完全沒有依據的說法，香港明星中他是來康熙最多次的藝人，至少有4次。」

醫生請蔡康永立刻結束錄影，回家休息，但他心想：「怎麼可能，來賓都在等。」醫生表示臉部神經發炎很難控制，若在一週內可好的話，算速度快的，慢的話可能會需要兩個月時間恢復。蔡康永表示，金馬獎主持目前應該沒問題。

才剛接下第50屆金馬獎主持棒的蔡康永，驚傳罹患「病毒性顏面失調」，日前錄影時右半邊臉突然無法控制垮下，醫師檢查後證明是因壓力過大、勞累過度引起。中天《康熙來了》製作人B2為此特地請人至日本購買數個絨布材質、品質極佳的面具，讓他能夠戴著主持。目前恢復狀況良好的蔡康永，估計1個月可復原。
