2013年1月INFINITI Q50於底特律車展上首演，當時針對美國地區的消費者提供大排氣量3.7L以及3.5L Hybrid油電複合系統兩種動力。沒多久後即傳出為了要應合歐洲與亞洲市場的需求，未來將會導入四缸渦輪引擎做為新動力來源。現在這些新引擎的相關資訊終於在2013年廣州車展上對外公開了。
