谷歌一度擠下埃克森 市值次大

全球網路搜尋巨擘谷歌市值一度超越埃克森美孚躋身市值第二大公司，僅次於全球市值冠軍蘋果公司，凸顯科技在經濟中扮演的角色日益吃重。

透過優勢搜尋引擎晉身全球最大網路廣告公司的谷歌（Google Inc.），週五盤中市值一度超越埃克森美孚（Exxon Mobil），成為市值次大上市公司。根據彭博彙編的數據，谷歌收盤市值來到3954億美元，相較於埃克森美孚的3957億美元。

全球市值最大公司蘋果（Apple）市值4635億美元。軟體巨擘微軟（Microsoft）市值3035億美元，排名第4。

在2004年，也是埃克森美孚掛牌交易84年後，上市的谷歌受惠於消費者轉向線上服務和內容。智慧型手機和平板電腦日益受到歡迎，加速線上服務和內容供應趨勢。

紐約歐本海默公司（Oppenheimer & Co.）分析師蓋特（Fadel Gheit）指出：「長江後浪推前浪，這是一個時代的標誌。」
